Fundermax Showroom Bucharest: nominated for the Annual Architectural Competition 2024

What makes the Fundermax showroom so special is its innovative approach to product presentation. Every element, from the use of sustainable and high-quality materials to the modern interior design, has been carefully thought out to create an ambience that is both harmonious and inspiring. Architects and designers can discover the versatility and transformability of Fundermax products here, while also learning about the latest trends and technologies in material and spatial design.

The showroom is divided into three main areas, which impressively demonstrate the versatility of the material selection. The first area serves as a welcoming entrance space and showcases innovative interior design solutions in which forms, textures and functions are creatively coordinated. From here, there is a smooth transition to the second area, which features a sculptural element highlighted by a colourful chandelier. Here, the diverse material textures are presented to illustrate their effect on spatial perception. Large glass surfaces connect the first two areas with the outside and create a subtle connection to the urban environment. These windows not only promote dialogue and exchange, but also create targeted areas for relaxation and conversation. The raised floor enhances the spatial dynamics and draws the eye to a sculptural element that is directed outwards. This element symbolises the creative energy that lies within each material, inviting visitors to discover the artistic potential of the surfaces.

Located right next to the renowned ‘Ion Mincu’ University of Architecture and Urbanism, the showroom is situated in a vibrant environment that offers creative minds, architects and designers numerous sources of inspiration. The Creative Hub goes beyond the function of a classic showroom: it invites you to experience Fundermax materials in an interactive and versatile way. Flexible design options and an interactive product presentation transform this space into a dynamic meeting place that showcases not only the materials but also the visions of the designer.

The Creative Hub offers space for workshops, events and networking and is already appreciated by Bucharest's architecture scene as a creative hub that brings people together and encourages the development of new ideas.
