Which Fundermax panels are suitable for balconies?
Durable materials are particularly recommended for balconies, with wood being particularly popular as a raw material. The Max Compact Exterior balcony floor panel, for example, is a large high-pressure laminate specially designed for permanent use as a balcony flooring. Thanks to the optional Hexa surface, the panels are also safe and non-slip.
The high-pressure laminate Max Compact Exterior panel in F-Quality and the Max Compact Authentic panel in F-Quality are perfect for designing the balcony fronts. All exterior panels are specially designed for outdoor use and offer optimal resistance to external influences such as impact, weather and liquids. What’s more, the panels are easy to clean.
As standard, Max Compact Exterior panels are produced in the same decor on both sides. On request, however, the reverse side can also be finished in balcony white and is available from one piece.

Max Compact Exterior panels for balcony cladding
Max Compact Exterior panels from Fundermax are ideal for balcony cladding. The HPL panels are to be mounted to the installed substructure with the Max Compact Exterior balcony rivets or screws provided for this purpose.
When doing so, the drill diameter in Max Compact Exterior panels should be larger than the diameter of the fastener, depending on the expansion space required. This prevents damage to the panel. The rule of thumb is: shaft diameter of the fastener (e.g. a screw) plus two millimetres.
Balcony flooring: Max Compact Exterior balcony floor panel
Max Compact Exterior panels from Fundermax are not only suitable as balcony cladding, but also as flooring.
The Max Compact Exterior panel Podio with Hexa surface was specially developed for balconies. It is attached directly to the substructure on the balcony. The installation is carried out either by screwing or by gluing.

Max Compact Exterior panels as balcony partition wall
Max Compact Exterior partition walls are used to screen off individual areas in long balconies and arcades. Screens stand perpendicular to the outer wall of the building and are fixed in different ways. Depending on the design, they extend from the upper edge of the balcony decking to the lower edge of the ceiling of the next storey.
