Office building Ternes Architekten BDA - ECO efficient house with e-mobility. 

The basic idea of the energy-autonomous building was the inspiration for the development of the ECO - Efficiency House based on an energy-efficient low-energy house with passive house technology. Regenerative energy sources, such as photovoltaics and wind power, provide the building with sustainable, self-sufficient electricity for heating, supply the building technology and create resources for e-mobility.
By means of intelligent control technology, different building functions are controlled flexibly and automatically depending on the situation.
Due to its regenerative electricity production, the ECO Efficiency House is already 70% energy self-sufficient and thus 100% climate-neutral and CO2-free due to the use of green electricity.
Inside the building, materials such as exposed concrete, steel, glass and wood materials dominate in terms of design and function. The interior is multifunctionally adaptable. Due to its conception, the building can take on a different function of use at any time.
Free-standing, the building has a striking, compact form and characterizes the new town center. A high challenge in terms of design and function, whose approach was sensitively and significantly integrated into the urban environment of the evolved village structure.
